All Outta Angst

"I have no money, no resources, no hopes. I am the happiest man alive."
-Henry Miller

I'm Jake. I like things.

Hey I know I haven’t been on this thing or posted in a while but check this out! It’s a four song EP that I wrote and recorded in one weekend. You can download for free if you’d like, but if you like music stuff take a look and see what you think.

I love shows about people who are all bad. Bad kids. Bad parents. Everybody’s bad and it’s great! This show is the best of bad people being shitty to each other and they’re related so it makes it even better! I can’t stop watching it.

Does everyone else’s mom think that Ellen is unconditionally funny despite what she actually says or does?

This seems like a phenomenon relegated strictly to moms but I want to figure it out.

Deuces Europe

Over the last three months I’ve had an absolutely astounding time in Europe. I never in my life expected that I would see such amazing and diverse places, have any of the ridiculous memories that I now have, or meet so many incredible people that I would have never known despite the fact that they go to the same school as me. Ten cities and eight countries later, I feel like I’m only on the cusp of what the world has to offer, but can now see it’s vastness after only having experienced a small portion of it. I feel blessed and satisfied and changed in a way that I never thought I would, and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead for me and all of the new and amazing people that I now have in my life because of this trip. Each one of them made it the time of my life that it was, and I couldn’t feel happier.
